Jan Hrdina

Hi there!

Is there anyone here that knows where Jan Hrdina has signed? He was rumoured to be on his way to Frölunda in the SEL. But since Frölunda now has signed Martin Cibak that seems unlikely.

Thanks!

Amazing! The same day as I post this Hrdina signs with a Swedish team, Hv71.

I suppose any moderator can remove this thread now

Well according to Swedish media Hrdina will be one of the highest paid players ever in the SEL. Sounds a bit like an overpayment from my point of view.

I'm sure he'll do well. But the kind of money that Hv71's paying is almost silly. (300.000 euro for 6 months). But hey, great for the SEL to get a player like Hrdina!

I don't know....

But I think he's signed for the entire season, or maybe he hasn't?

Great players anyway. Loved Bartecko's last season in Luleå. This year players such as Surovy, Cibak and Hrdina have signed as well. Could be an interesting season

no
he will .... everybody will play just 6 months (including playoff) because of income taxes.
employee who is working less than 6 months didn't pay taxes in Sweden. so there...
bartecko will play for poprad or kezmarok first.

Ah, ok! Thanks for that info about Surovy and Bartecko. However, Cibak will play for Frolunda all season I suppose. He's already played in pre season games.

hmm
if cibak played for frolunda in preseason game in sweden than he will play there all season.
but if it was e.g. in finland he don't have to play there all season.
Jirko Bicek (1st Slovak Stanley Cup owner) played for his swedish team on tournament in finland.
but he will play for team from my city first - HC Kosice

Frölunda (they have a lot of money) has stated that Cibak will stay all year, and when it comes to Bicek there was an article in which Brynäs' coach wanted his team to spend the necessary money to have Bicek all year (mostly because of his success in the tornament in Finland). But they probably can't afford it.

Jaroslav Svoboda will play for Luleå in a tournament in Switzerland.
