Is anyone baffled as to why he hasn't found an NHL team yet? He was kicked around a bit last year, ending up with Nashville, and then wasn't re-signed.
I don't see why. He'll never live up to his draft billing, but he's still a decent third liner, useful on the PK and he's willing to throw the odd hit. He can play all three forward positions, and he's also young enough to fit into some expansion teams long term plans...
Personally, I think he'd be a decent fit in Atlanta, Montreal or Pittsburgh.
Todd never really got a shot in Nashville, and I think it's a shame. He got the same treatment that Jon Sim and Oleg Petrov did...got decent icetime for a couple of games...then spent the rest of the year being scratched(or in Sim's case, waived). I thought he was a decent third liner, and could play on our second PK unit...but honestly,t here was no spot for him on the team this year. I wish him luck.
