Todd Warriner?

Is anyone baffled as to why he hasn't found an NHL team yet? He was kicked around a bit last year, ending up with Nashville, and then wasn't re-signed.

I don't see why. He'll never live up to his draft billing, but he's still a decent third liner, useful on the PK and he's willing to throw the odd hit. He can play all three forward positions, and he's also young enough to fit into some expansion teams long term plans...

Personally, I think he'd be a decent fit in Atlanta, Montreal or Pittsburgh.

I was a huge fan of his when he was in Vancouver. One of my favourite players to be exact.

I love the way he plays, he can do it all. Although his offense never has fully come around he's not exactly a slouch. The chances he does get he finishes off pretty well.

I think he's still a valueable player, and he would be a serviceable player on any team.

He is in Finland playing for Jokerit. 2 goals in 5 games. Their leading scorer is Glen Metropolit.

Todd never really got a shot in Nashville, and I think it's a shame. He got the same treatment that Jon Sim and Oleg Petrov did...got decent icetime for a couple of games...then spent the rest of the year being scratched(or in Sim's case, waived). I thought he was a decent third liner, and could play on our second PK unit...but honestly,t here was no spot for him on the team this year. I wish him luck.
