He's an unsigned UFA. I would think he'll find an AHL contract somehwere or another. He was also drafted by St. Hyacinthe in a late round in the NAHL draft this summer, but I highly doubt he'll report there.

Amazing how 'the only 30 goal scorer on the Canadiens' can't get a contract from anyone. Anyone.

Kozlov, Leetch, Allison, Carter, Bondra, Czerkawski, Aubin, Isbister, Moran, Slegr, Rasmussen, Varada, Savage, Dingman, Wilm, Majesky, Marshall, Boucher, Hulse, Hrdina, Suchy, Dvorak, Perreault, Kvasha and Dagenais are among the players left without contract 40 days before the training camp start. Some of them still have something to provide to an NHL team, and therefore, I don't think being unsigned right now is really meanningfull.

My guess is that he's sitting at his home on Notre-Dame street here in Mirabel (domaine vert nord), you can find his house easily, it's the one with the hummer and the blue corvette!

I heard from an non-reliable source (the ADT guy that came to my house a couple days ago, he told me he went to Dagenais's house earlier in august!) he had some tryout with boston & pittsburg but he didn't make it!

Dagenais would go into the corners.....it's just that by the time he got there, the play had already moved to the other end of the ice.

In fact, I think that the play could go up and down the ice 3-4 times before Dagenais get into the corner. mcphee is faster.

If we had to start being mean with every hockey players that played "only" 142 or less NHL games, the highest hockey level, we wouldn't be close to be done...
