NHL 07 Flyers Ratings

http://sports.ign.com/nhl07/philadelphia.html

I think these ratings are pretty bad, anyone agree?
Carter, and Richards aren't even 80s.
Also don't have Calder.

Carter as a grinder?

Pitkanen an 84 as a defensive d-man?

The categories are pretty hilarious as well.

Carter is only one point higher on skating speed than Richards; Carter's wrist shot is comparable to Hatcher's.

Who makes these things up?

The ratings are horrible. Carter is in no way a Grinder, and why the heck is his wrist shot power only a 74? You know there is a problem when Handzus has better wristshot power than Carter.. Also as mentioned before there is no way Pitkanen is a defensive defensemen. Im going to check out the other teams, but if it's as inaccurate as the flyers the NHL 07 dev team have really disappointed me.. I hope they update these.

you'd think for a game that is their only focus at the moment they would intend to get things right... obviously they could care less.

this is one of the reasons i dont bother buying these games

Usually I find ratings are ok, and I just edit some of them, but this years looks like too much work to edit. And I was looking at the goalies and they got Raycroft listed as a 91 after his horrible year. Esche and Nitty are low 80s.

Ones that stand out for being bad.

Baumgartner - Offensive D man?
Carter - Grinder and worse than Dimo?
Eager - Power forward?
Elison - Sniper?
Pitkanen - defensive D man?
Primeau - Power Forward?
Umberger - Power forward?

Oh dear.

Hopefully my EHM ratings will be better. A kick in the nuts will have to be dispatched if anyone rips into those.

I thought power forwards (Bertuzzi, Tkachuk) had to score, hes the perfect example of a grinder to me and that's what he was in NHL06 so I don't quite know what hes done to get to power forward since then.

the thing that urks me most is knuble being a 79, the guy put up 34 goals and 65 point last year, i think he is worth a little more than that... pitkanen being a 84 is a little weak, but everyone else on our defense was rated correctly... horrible

Carter was done totally wrong also

I was just looking at the Devils ratings.

Langenbrunner is better than Carter and Richards.

Rafalski is better than Pitkanen.

Someone will correct them, I recall there was a Flyers centred site somewhere and he did them pretty well.

Its sad that EA cant get a basic thing right it a game after 10 years, especially as each game is almost identical to the previous one!

The ratings are brutal. I looked at Boston's and Dan Lacouture had the same potential as Brad Boyes. Marco Sturm is listed as a power forward. Everything is just so wrong.
