Seriously he seems to have very good feel for the puck and a deadly shot...
He also likes to throw the body and can quarterback the Power Play....

Over all he has great skills and firstline potential.

Im very happy with his development and where he is playing..

Good luck this year Sergei

GOOD BODYCHECKS (can't wait to see those on real NHL men)

Great wrist shot...really great

Good job Sammy, he seems to have very good offensive awareness and that's good for a player whom I think will be a nice complementary NHL player. He gives huge bodychecks for his size, and his wrist shot is a nice asset, it seems to run in the family

The playmaker with #44 (Shremp?) has alot to do with most of his goals. I agree that his wrister looks good 'though.

wow

great video man, u know whats going to be scary when Sergei - Andrei - Mikhael Grabovsky are all reunited in Montreal, that is going to be one of the scariest lines in the league, hopefully Kovalev will still be around to teach these young guys.

I'm going down to the JLC today to see the Knights training camp, hopefully Kostitsyn is there impressing everyone like he usually does.

Remains to be seen what this guy can do with average linemates but it's easy to tell that he'll be at the very least a 3rd liner. If Andrei could always show the on-ice work ethic that his brother shows, he'd already be in the nhl.

Not had a chance to watch it yet, will do once I get home though. Does it include his playoff goals too? Cos there was one I saw where he fired a wrister from between the top of the circles and the blue line and nailed the top corner. Would love to see that goal again.

he doesnt seem to be as flashy as his brother but he seems to have a good wrist shot...quick release...I would say accurate but I dont know his shooting percentage...it would be interesting to see if his shot is good enough for the NHL....i guess the AHL would be the next step for him
i havent watched an entire game with him in it so i cant say much more...but could be interesting thats for sure...he seems to have gone a long way since I saw him play at the rookie tournament a couple of years back...back then he looked like a boy amongs men because of his size and honestly he looked like he was 15 years old at the bench...i dont remember his play from back then so i cant comment on that

One thing I noticed

One thing I noticed that has nothing to do with Shremps abilities is that this guy can drive the net like nobody in the Habs can (or anybody in last years habs) and looks to be really hard to knock off the puck. His balance is incredible. Do any ofyou know how his defensive skills are? Because the only thing that could make him go through AHL for one year after this year with London is to bring up his defensive potentiel if it's not up to scale for the NHL. That' My opinion based only on what I saw in highlight videos on the web tho. What do you guys think?

Edit: Strange that Sergei has more videos on youtube than Andrei has? dont' you think?

What would it take to pry Shremp away from Edmonton? What is is trade value in you opinion?

He does drive the net quite well but this is against minors...We'll see what he can really do once he makes it up. As far as his defensive skills, he's pretty good. He's played on the penalty kill, and when on the point (pp) he doesn't make too many mistakes either. One of our more well-rounded prospects, but he'll definitely need a year in the AHL.

What about Schremp? What is his value in your opinion? do we have what it takes to pry him away from Edmonton?

I think the asking price would be too high, don't think Gainey would go for it.

hadn't any idea the kid had so much potential. Very good feel for the puck and a deceptive wrist shot...Looks like a potential all-round player.

A real eye opener that video

Nice job! Keep them coming

Good video, I am liking both the Kostitsyn brothers. I wish Andrei had the developement that Sergei had....it could have easily helped him adjust the way his brother is seeming to.

Side note: I have watched some video on Rob Schremp and he is looking much better than the late first round pick when he was drafted. Attitude or no attitude it seems he is going to flourish and with that said we would probably have to give up a solid D-man to help the Oils back-end. Even then I wouldn't bank on it.
