What player on your team do you think is really just dead weight and/or keeping a roster spot over someone more deserving; yet they still manage to get quality ice time...for the caps I think it would have to be joel kwiatkowski

Any Jacket fan will tell you Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre needs to go far far away.

For the Bruins it's Lapointe (although I love how he stands up for his linemates!) or Zamuner. One of these two should go to free up a space for Sergei Zinovyev.

Interesting question since I'm a Devils fan.
I couldn't see any of the top 12 forwards not being vital to the team, and on defense, I'd say the top seven are just about right.
If anything, and it pains me to say this, I'd like to see Ari Ahonen get a few games in instead of Corey Schwab, who has been great for us.
Lose two thirds of our top line with Sandy and Cassels? Guess we could get Ovechkin that way...
They haven't done crap all season. Neither are playing like they did last year (each got new contracts over the summer...hmmm...) and neither seem to give a damn out there. Start the Russian Invasion next season, I say, with Ovechkin, Zherdev, Moyzakin and Tchackenko.
for the Canucks, some would argue that Sopel (or Allen) needs to sit in favor of more Slegr ice time, but outside of that I don't think we have any problems

I don't think Sopel is taking Slegr's ice time as much as Allen is. But, Allen needs to play more games for his development, and Slegr was brought in as a 7th defenseman, so I think all is well. I wouldn't drop the top 13 forwards or the top 7 defensemen or either goalie, so I'm pleased.

So if we drop them, calling up Hartigan and Moran to replace them is going to make things better?
For the Flyers, I honestly can't say anyone. Everybody's been playing very well, some would say Brashear, but he's been playing pretty well this season.
