You can just not sign if you don't like the team and then sign with whomever you want. that pretty much makes drafting silly doesn't it?

Joey Crabb was not going to play for NYR. Slats and Maloney had 3 years to evaluate this kid. He probably will not play for Atlanta. If NYR draft college players they like, they will sign them. Obliviously the NYR felt they had better talent under contract already. Remember they did not sign Guenin. This to me says the NYR farm system is very strong and they are not going to sign everybody they draft, just because they're a draft pick. You better have game or your gone.
