i need some help

i'm in a keeper league and i'm the chicago blackhwks. i can protect three players.

1.prospect or player 25 and under

2. player age 25 and up

3. any goalie or defenceman

mine right now are seabrook, barker and havlet. but i'm considering ruutu, but i have heard he is thinking about retirement.

has anyone heard anything about this and who would you protect. any help will be useful.

2. I'm not a Chicago expert, but I'd go with Ruutu.
3. Khabibulin.. he had an offyear but its not unrealistic that he could have another good year.

i'm keeping havlat. he is the biggest star on the team. and i can pick up a better goalie then khabibulin in the dispersal draft.

I'd go with Seabrook, Ruutu, and Havlat. I've heard nothing about Ruutu retiring since the start of the summer. If Ruutu stays healthy he should be a solid force in fantasy. Barker is an unproven rookie, so he should last a while in your dispersal draft (longer than Ruutu, at least).

thats what the commisioner of the league adviced me to do also, but i'm very high on barker. and the draft with barker and ruutu are seperate. there is a prospect draft a dispersal draft and the 06 entry draft. and i kind of think barker will go early in the prospect draft if i let him go. and i think i can be able to snatch ruutu in round 3-4. and i will get higher picks if i protect barker. the point total of the three players you protect decides how early or late you will pick. and if i protect seabrook, barker and havlet. i will probably pick somewhere between 1-5, but i find it hard to decide would love to keep ruutu. if only i could protect one more player
