Prospects Tournament

Anyone have information on the pre season prospect tournament that is going on? Who are the Stars sending? Where are they playing? Can we view results anywhere?

He's still in Finland, probably taking care of military duty. He's coming over for the main camp, not the tournament.

Sertich did pretty well...4 pts in the first two games. He shouldn't have been allowed to play against his home state

So far, so good, 2-0 going into the final game.

Let's see if Sertich keeps it up......I know it'll never happen, but maybe, just MAYBE, we'll see him as a late season callup or something.

3-2 semifinal loss to Columbus, they play the Rangers for 3rd place later.

Polak with 2 goals and 9 shots total, and Sertich picked up another assist.

Check the Stars homepage and there's a Q and A in the article. Stephan played most of the games at the tourney, but I think it's beed decided he'll be spending the season in the minors, after training camp. That narrows the backup battle to Ellis and Smith, so we'll see who's better in the preseason.

Question. Did Lindgren play and how did he look if he did? Same for Niskanen and Khomitsky.

Thanks Stars fans.

Thanks Stars fans.
Neither Lindgren nor Niskanen were there. Lindgren is in Finland fulfilling his military obligations, but he'll be at the Stars main training camp. Pretty sure Niskanen won't because of NCAA rules. Haven't really heard much about Khomitsky, except that he scored a goal in the game today.

One minute later, the Stars then went up 5-3 on an even strength goal by Andy Sertich, putting the Rangers in a big hold with just 8:33 to go.
I'm assuming they meant Marty, onless they somehow added Andy.

Actually Perttu left to Dallas yesterday and it is said in "Aamulehti" newspaper today that he´ll be back in Finland on 20th of Sept, if he is not able to claim a place in the roster (among top 3 centers).

Hacker has been signed by Iowa I think. I would hope Iowa could sign Niki as well

Nikiforov is only 18(he'll turn 19 in October). So he can't play in Iowa this year.

Is Loui Eriksson's there at the Rookie Camp or he's attempt to the main camp?

As both a Dallas Stars fan and a Las Vegas Wranglers fan (I hate Idaho), I'm hoping that Silverthorn gets up to Iowa quickly. I hate that guy. I mean the "he beats us when we play him" part.
