According to The Dispatch this morning, Pushor was in town yesterday and is now headed to Syracuse to begin working out. He says he is already in shape and that all he needs is a job.
Looks like we may be seeing our first 2 time Blue Jacket.
Maybe if Pushor plays well enough, he can stay on the rest of the season in Columbus as the 7th D-man. Walser then can go back to the AHL where he belongs.
I just hope to God you change that avatar pronto. That thing is very disturbing. Funny as hell, but I cringe everytime I read one of your posts.
That bad, eh? I prolly ought to change it before I make everyone's "ignore list".
If it's THAT bad, I'll change it this evening. I've got to go to school right now.
Agree. I just hope to God we never see Timmander sniffing around again..
Oh God. You just made my heart skip a beat. If we were to compile a list of "worst blue jacket players ever," Timmander would be by #1 vote getter. That guy was horrible.

While I'll agree that Pushor might not be more than a 6th-7th D-man on a play-off caliber team, IMO he was an integral part of the successes of the Year One CBJ, and I'd take the effort that team played with---on a daily basis---over any of the subsequent CBJ editions.
Frankie Kucera doesn't seem to get much play on these boards---I wonder what his status is. Last I knew, he had been the Cap's most reliable D-man two years ago, and then they decided not to bring him back.
Any thoughts? Seemed to be a good expansion-type player---a veteran who was good in the locker room, good on the PK,.....
I know that nobody could foresee the injury situation w/D-men before it played out, but doesn't Captain Lyle and his .5M one-year contract in Fla look good right now.
