Hossa and Ryder Being Traded

I want to stress that this is just a rumour, but I heard over the weekend that both Hossa and Ryder were going to be traded to the same team...I don't want to give too many details at this point but I will add that the trade is with a team out West. The source of the rumour given to me is a very good source, although I don't want to jump to any conclusions as I haven't spoken to the source myself...I'm just curious if anybody else have heard similar rumblings or can shed some more light on the situation.

I think this rumour is BS, but my best guess would be Morrow.

Again, never gonna happen...

Logic states that if BG was looking to move both Ryder and Hossa, why would of both of them been sitting Saturday night??? Doesn't that look bad in the eyes of any team we would be looking at trading with??

Not that I think it's going to happen.

Only if we are getting good young players such as Brendan Morrow in return, otherwise there is no chance it's going to happen

last week there was this reporton the Dallas news paper...
Dallas Stars owner Tom Hicks remains confident in general manager Doug Armstrong and coach Dave Tippett, but said the club is exploring all options to improve, including trades or signing free agents. “I’m obviously disappointed, but I’m satisfied Doug understands the issues,” Hicks told the Dallas Morning News. “We’re trying to see if there is anything else we can do externally, and we’re exploring that, and we’ll see if anything comes of it,” Hicks said. “It’s still early.” The Stars (7-8-1-0) have lost four in-a-row, all by three goals or more, for the first time since March 1996. They haven’t been under .500 this late in the season since Nov. 28, 1999.

BG isn't that stupid, he wouldn't trade the future
if he does, we might as well start cheering for someone else cause the rebuilding will last forever

Well, let's just say that I was trying to get everybody's attention in hopes that someone could shed some light on the situation because I'm hoping it's not true.

I think it is just a rumor, but if they were to be traded I would not be surprised to se them go to Edmonton for Comrie. The Oilers are looking for good young players in return and both Ryder and Hossa played well with Stoll in Hamilton last season, not to mention their is some chemistry there with Stoll/Torres/Ryder. Hossa would probably play alongside Hemsky, then watch him produce.

But I see us going with youth, not dumping it off for another teams headache or problem child.

I see a trade coming up with Phoenix, for who i'm not sure they do have a couple of players that could help up out, for example, Chris Gratton, Landon Wilson but would I trade Hossa or Ryder for any of those 2 players, hell no!

Instead of trying to crap all over me why don't you actually try to take the time to read my posts because if you did it should become quite clear that I did not start the Rumour...I repeat, I did not start the rumour!!!...I merely reported what I heard from a person who doesn't get involved in BS and as such I regarded it as a valid rumour...I was really taken back when I heard it and was desperate to find out that it wasn 't true. Thankfully, so far nobody has given any strong evidence to support the rumour... But a couple of people have offered up some interesting comments that make sense regarding trading both Hossa and Ryder...for example, the post suggesting the possibility of a trade with Edmonton (see the response by RE-HABS ).

There is just no merit to all of this. Your source is probably just pulling your legs or something.

If you want this post to garner some respect, you will need to reveal your source.

Otherwise, all you did was for none.
