Tibbetts is being unrealistic if he expects the Bruins not to be skeptical and suspicious of an ex-felon. Just because they're giving him an opportunity doesn't mean that he won't be under a microscope. He has alot to prove.
I never knew about the "crimes" Tibbits committed. Now that I know, I have to say shame on the community. Is he really a criminal? The guy got a hummer from a girl at a party when he was 17!!!! Who the hell hasn't?!!!! Does that really make him a criminal? Last I checked, that was what being a teenager was all about!! As far as the BB gun "shooting", what a joke. A bb would most likely never be able to pierce the skin..... I had a Daisy 1-pump and my friends and I used to shoot each other all the time. It would leave a little red mark for an hour or so, and that was it. I really hope Tibbits makes the team now. It would be a big FU to society. The guy deserves a fair shot as he is hardly a criminal. What's next? Capital punishment for smoking weed?

I'm really getting excited about the season now that it's so close to starting and all of the changes they've made from top to bottom are impressive! Can't wait to see some games on NESN. Right!!!!!!! Come on now. If it was forced oral, I can think of a pretty good way for the girl to defend herself that would certainly be effective!! And why isn't the girl listed as a sex offender since Tibbits was only 17 at the time? The legal system can really be dispicable at times.

The accusation is that she was unconcious at the time, and that other people ***** her in other ways, but Tibbetts was the only one they could identify.

Mario probably deserved it. After all, didn't they once find Lord Stanley's cup at the bottom of Lemieux's swimming pool? Thats worth at least one burger in the face.

Right? Something seems wrong with this whole story. I am guessing that she was the daughter of a prominent and wealthy community member who was caught in the act and they turned the whole thing on Tibbetts. What other explination could there possibly be? You can't give oral while you're unconscious...... And better yet, why the hell would any male want oral from a girl who is unconscious?? I am guessing that it would be an extremely toothy BJ....... I don't buy this story for a second. And as far as the BB gun thing goes..... Hey, it was a BB gun, not a shotgun or pistol. I've been shot with a BB gun plenty of times....... Part of growing up as a male I guess. Never really thought twice about it, as it never really hurt and was about as comparable as shooting roman candles at each other........ The more I think about this, the more I think Tibbetts is a casualty of a narrow minded society. I wish the guy all the best, and hope he can prove everyone wrong and make the team. Seems like he deserves the chance to make up for lost time.
