My guess is because that management already know what they are getting out of Dubinsky and Staal. There are probably a lot of questions about the other guys that were inserted in to the lineup.

winning a tournament like this isn't the most important thing, they want to see what the rest of the guys can do.

but it sounds like this game was lost in the net anyways.

He had one of our 5 goals.

BTW, I'm a Thrashers fan from Georgia. Nice comeback by your prospect team from 4-0 against maybe our strongest overall prospect team ever. Pavelec was in net for us, and he's one of our top prospects.

That said, Gold medal game here we come!

Your strongest team? So far it seems that the Rangers are balancing the players throughout the games. eg: Dubinsky and Stall were in game 1, but in not game 2whereas Sanguinetti sat out game 1 and made an appearance in game 2.

Does anyone know if other teams rotate their prospects in and out of their games, or are we the only one's with that much depth?

I feel pretty safe in assuming that teams have big roster for the tournament. I would say that 75% of all players suffer small groin strains ect the first games they play every season. I really doubt the brass where happy with the OT game last night, they played what almost 100 minutes of hockey...

Gooing into a tournament like this with 18 players and 4 games in 5 days are insane.

The Rangers were the team with the most new members on the ice yesterday. But it is also the team that brought the largest number of rookies to the tourney.

Excellent point. There are still many prospects that are not playing. Goes to show the depth we have built up.

It was probably more along the lines of 66 minutes. They played two overtime periods and those periods where only 3 minutes a piece.

I can see it now, that will be added into one of the new NHL rules, 4 on 4 for 3 mins than 3 on 3 for 3 mins I hope this dont happen. I think they should have continues ot 5 on 5 like in the playoffs.
