How good will our special teams be?

Personally, I think that our PP will be around 10th best in the league with all of the help we have picked up. Mara, Savard, Kessel and Chara should be big helps. Our PK, which wasnt terrible last year, will also improve a little with more depth than last year.

I think with the additions of Chara, Mara, Donovan, and Savard our PP and PK are going to go from weaknesses to the strength of the team.

You think how many 1 goal losses we had last year where we lost the game due to not being able to convert on the PP or not having the depth to kill off penalties. That has changed. Chara alone makes a huge difference on both ends. Mara and B-Stuart give us plenty of options on the PP and how we end up using Chara (ie-front of the net on occasion). And of course another year of Bergeron improving along with Boyes and we are shaping up real nice on the special teams.

agree we can role out 2 great powerplay lines with the likes of bergy boyes sturm kessel savard murray chara stuart and mara

and good penalty kill lines with donovan axey primeau chara stuart bergy etc
