It's been a few days since we had something to criticize.

Dont think there is anything to criticize if thats the call, Lupaschuk is carrying an injury and Koci has zero NHL experience. Boileau on the other hand has some NHL experience and has shown he can handle being called up ok last year with the Wings.

Yeah but it makes you wonder as to when their going to callup Scuderi. Better now than next season since he'll have to clear waivers(right?).

I had a pretty strong hunch that Boileau would get the call ahead of Lupaschuk (even before he got hurt). Hopefully Boileau can do well for us. At the very least, he can't be much worse than what we have already.

I must admit before we decided upon the Baumgartner experiment, I was thinking Boileau was going to make it over Lupaschuk for the final defenseman spot, based on his greeater (albeit not vast) NHL experience.

If Lupaschuk wasnt injured, I think we'd be welcoming Lupaschuk's arrival. However, I am still hoping Lupaschuk gets the call once he is healthy. Hopefully he'll join Boileau on a reconstructed blueline, and help us forget about the McKenna disaster. Oh well...good luck Patrick Boileau and win a job for yourself

I hope he does well. I'm sure this experiment can't be much worse than what we've experimented with already *cough*Bere*cough*howsky*cough*

By "occasionally" you must mean he chips in for the other team by making bad defensive moves and occasionally (lately) chips in some offense?

Just some thoughts...

I would like to see Koci or Scuderi get a callup sometime this season too(and of course Lupaschuk). Pretty much Scuderi before the others becasue he's older and I want to see what he has to offer. So many younger d-men to see play.

As few times as he chips in he's still a million times better than Baumgartner.

i'd think they eb a little weary of bringing koci up as this is his first yaer in the ahl even. they probably want him to get a little more experience down there.

He's been up and down the past 2 years though. Not like he has no North American experience.
