Although I like Hossa I'd do it....I think Carter would look good on the first or second line for Montreal. Hossa might thrive playing alongside "better" players and who knows Audette who has picked it up a bit lately could regain some life in NY
I wouldn't do this from a Hab perspective. Rebuilding teams shouldn't deal youth. The only circumstance where dealing youth should be acceptable is when it's for quality players with character that can help the youth movement. A streaky, underachieving Anson Carter doesn't fit this role.
Uh...no. Why trade two underachieving players for one underachieving player?
Care to explain why Hossa's an underacheiver from your perspective? He doesn't even have a full season played in the NHL yet and just turned 22yo. He's also improved steadily since last year even if he doesn't have the production to show for it yet. At least leave him "a bit" of time to develop before labeling him with such bold comments.
