If its not a joke, it just validates the lack of knowledge of the guys making up the list.

Gotta keep everyone on the edges of their seats waiting for the last 10 to be released. A little controversy is good for the boards.

Don't tease us like that, DARE.

Besides, we already know that Dany Roussin is more likely to crack the top 10 than Patrick O'Sullivan.

MO on Who Is Too High or Too Low

Tukonen's too high. I'm guessing the guys who made the list didn't know about his shoulder injury or at least the extent of it.

Kopitar > Ryan, O'Sullivan, Semin

O'Sullivan's a bit high. I'd put O'Sullivan in the group with Radulov, Schremp, and Perry.

Semin's too high. He had a poor year in Russia, with 19 points on the season. You can point to his WC with six points but then where would that put Kopitar? I'd probably put Semin around the 30 or so range.

Bernier and, to a lesser extent, Perry are low. Honestly, how many here wouldn't trade O'Sullivan for Bernier?

I would not trade O'Sullivan for Bernier

Also regarding Tukonen this is top prospects, not who is most ready or going to do best this season. This is who has the most potential, most likely to reach it, etc. Under that Tukonen could still fall there

Tukonen could still reach his potential. It could also turn into a Jared Aulin situation. Most likely, it will fall some place in between. But the bottom line is Tukonen hasn't played since April, and the Kings haven't given any indication as to when to expect Tukonen to be ready to play. It could just be that I'm cynical after all the Kings injuries the past three years, but it's more likely that the writers didn't realize the extent of Tukonen's shoulder injury, IMO.

The extent of Tukonen's injury was as known by the committee as the LA organization will allow anyone outside the organization to know.

Well now isn't this interesting?

We are now up to 4 top-50 prospects with 3 of those in the top-15.

Aren't we the only team with that many ranked guys?

Pretty impressive...especially considering that our highest draft position since 1997 has been, what? 11th?

Hopefully Lewis and Bernier are in the top 50 come spring.
Dont underestimate Joey Ryan he could end up being the most consistent player the Kings drafted this year.
