Devils/Ducks Scout Columbus

DEVILS, DUCKS SCOUTING BLUE JACKETS.

COLUMBUS DISPATCH: Aaron Portzline reports scouts from the New Jersey Devils and Anaheim Ducks attended yesterday's Blue Jackets-Sabres game. The Devils are looking to get under the $44 million salary cap whilst the Ducks apparently wish to trim $2 million from their payroll.

Looks like there might be some movement...maybe Zherdev?

Um is Zherdev under contract? If he isn't did he play in the game? Assuming he isn't under contract, so by which he hasn't played in any games so far, kinda useless to try and scout a player who isn't playing.

Although if he was playing, my bad, didn't think he was since I don't beleive he has a contract

Probably because you read a little too fast.

It could make sence if Zherdev wasn't in Russia right now.
