Without watching camp (aside from the rookie tournament) my presumed roles, barring surprises would be:

Higgins: 1A/B winger on the Koivu line
Latendresse: back to junior

The exhibition games starting tonight will really be the key to seeing how things will shake down for Latendresse, though. Can't wait!

I would be very surprised if Latendresse made the team this year, and I would imagine Higgy would be flanking Koiuv to start the year, although I wouldn't be shocked if Koivu was to really click with another winger in camp that there would be a chance Higgins could find himself on another line at some point. I wouldn't bet on it, but Higgins is the type of player than could be a positive on any line, so I don't think management would be too worried about breaking him and Koivu up.

My thoughts too.

Can you tell me what the star after my name signifies?

Higgins has to stay either on the first or second line. Simple. Where else you going to put him. Unless Ribs is traded and he plays center. Carbs has to give him 20 games with Saku. If anything it might be Ryder that gets taken off of this line because he slows it down.

Higgins can play any line and any role. It may come in handy at the beginning of this year if he's his usual self. I love the guy but his points usually come later in the year. Maybe his new found PF status while break the mold this year.
I'd love to see the Higgins-Plek-Perez line again, they can really fly.
