He did play pretty horrible tonight dude... . But I think it was just an off game because Blake(even though he scored) didnt play that well either.

This year it will be way more explicitated. Last year it happened too, just no one was willing to get mad at him. Everyone always just jumped on Corvo. With him gone, Gleason's mistakes will be the ones looked at now. That said no where am I stating he is not a good defender, or that I dislike him. Just stating that last year he had quite a few lapses or bad times too, and kind of never really got complained about.

He makes Mattias Norstrom mistakes...Like he dives or drops to one knee when he doesnt need too. But then again hes been playing with Aaron Miller so he learned a few crappy things from him.

Im pretty sure, now that we have real hockey people and not a group of kiss ***** that they can see these things though. We should hire Tubby and CBGB no joke...

No need to get all worked up on this kid. This is preseason. Young dmen will make mistakes...it happens.

I wouldn't worry about it too much until it becomes a serious problem during the regular season...

One night, it's just preseason, nothing to get excited about. The next, **** it all to hell.

I swear that I will never understand some people, and shouldn't even attempt to try.

I find it pretty funny when people pushes the panic button after 1 meaningless preseason game.

Have you started following hockey 2 weeks ago?

I don't give a S about preseason games.

I went out and bought season tickets after they beat the Ducks, I was sure they would win the Stanley Cup. Sincerely, Fan Since 88.

And for all of you who COMPLETELY MISSED THE POINT...

Name a GOOD King defenseman who wore sweater #6....

Gleason has changed his number and has inherited some of the sweater number's traits.... He was flopping and flailing and looked utterly miserable.

Not an overreaction to a player or a game, but a not-so-subtle reminder that the #6 has not been kind to Kings defensemen since the mid 1970s.

God, you people are occasionally as dense as LA smog.

That's pretty funny. I was telling my wife the same thing. He should not have changed his number.

You forgot to add Sean O'Donnell.

So glad Im not the only one that noticed Gleason played terrible.
Idiots in my row blamed all three goals on the goaltenders.

Pre-season game and 2nd on back to back nights. Not too worried. Tubby does have a point on the #6 trend though.

I didn't have to add Sean O'Donnell, because it was implied (LOL.)

Seriously, I looked briefly for a mediaguide for a list of all the 6's but it was late, I was tired, and so I just took the BEST examples I could muster up. PLEASE TIM... y ou never wore 6 before, DON'T START NOW!

Nothing but Eric Lindros and Corey Perry on the team for starters, how geigh ....

And I'm sorry but I can't take anyone {CBGB} that yells out "PICK UP YOUR STICK" to Trevor Lewis {I think it was} during a PK situation during the rookie shootout games, when a guy from the other team had the puck right in front of him ... hell ANY pee-wee hockey player knows you don't pick up your stick 'til after the scoring threat leaves your area ...

People think these guys know something about hockey just because they like to hear themsleves talk and do so ALL THE TIME ... well, just because they post a lot and just because they know a few hockey people, don't mean they know jack about Hockey ... hell they're Kings Fans for chriest sake, right there should tell you something

One small reason why I respect Cammalleri is that he's not afraid to wear #13. If I were playing, I'd considering choosing that number, too, just as a snub. Superstitions are in your head.

Either way, Gleason was absolutely brutal last night. He was on the ice for all 3 goals last night (and in the crease for 2), and on each one he blew his assignment. Not to say I'm down on Timmah, but he had a terrible game and I'm looking for him to pick it up in Las Vegas.
