Anyway....I'd like to thank "La Cage Aux Sports" for actualy putting on the games.

Yesterday they had some problems but still....at least we have this opportunity. And altho we only got half the game yesterday I still have a good time with my friends talking about the upcoming season and our pools while drinking some beer and eating chicken wings.

so...Thx la cage.
This thread is funny. Habs fans as a mob of enraged townspeople with torches and rope and axes and stuff, all fired up to go lynch Dr Frankenstein, burn down his castle and kill the monster. You, as the gentle town mayor, trying to calm everyone down. Be careful, znk. Usually, the mayor will be drawn and quartered by said mob, while the monster is strangling his wife and kidnapping his daughter with lustful intentions.

This could get good.

In the words of Yogi Berra, "no one goes to that restaurant anymore, it's too crowded."

Actually, we went a few times in the past few years and the place is usually dead even on game nights; not like it was a decade ago when everyone was actually watching the game and they had the goal horn for goals.

We have a lot more fun ordering in and drinking beer at home, to be honest.

Honestly their website should state which places are not allowed to show the games because of teritorial issues...it would have saved me gas last night and last year it would have saved me a meal/beer and gas...

last year I had no way of knowing it was going to happen since the first 2 games were shown there and this year i had no way yet again because someone i called told me the game was going to be on

I think the funnest part about being a parent is throwing out random cultural references that they don't recognize at all. I am looking forward to it.

See, that was random too. I'm practising.

Nah, the best is slowly, over time, breaking down their self esteem.

Holy crap, hope that pesky social worker isn't a Hab fan.

Send a message via ICQ to Anksun
I went to La Cage on Langelier and Jean-Talon corner street.

Everything was fine.

The same thing happened at Champs last night (not showing the game due to dish problems).
