Did you happen to catch why that started? It looked to me like Ondrus sidestepped the hit, and Maloney caught him with a bit of his leg, and then Maloney went straight after him. Didn't look like any knee to knee, or anything dirty from either side, I was kind of confused.

Nice little tussle though.

Very good point. It's too bad your avatar makes me want to throw up.

Team 1200 saying Alfie's twinged his groin, pulled for precautionary reasons. They're saying Kaig's been shying away from traffic "not wanting to engage".

Anyone who missed it (I know you're not Leafs fans, but I loved this play) Volchenkov went for a nice open ice hit on Peca early in the game, but Peca tossed the puck to a teammate and then finished the check into Volchenkov. It was pretty good considering Volchenkov doesn't tend to be forgiving when he lines you up.

they're so gelling they're magelling

D-phillips doesnt look so hot, meszaros is getting a lot of minutes, again preissing is being gentle, a-train is doing well and even jumping in the play more than usual which is never.

Forwards-Alfy i guess is gone, Schaeffer is doing well cycling and i think is missing the guys like fisher and neil that he usually plays with, Kaigs is so-so hes showing flashes of brilliance but is a little timid in his first game, fisher neil and vermette are doing very well. hennessy is going to be a great player, very excited to see him progress, potulny and maloney will be decent players in bingo.

goalie-gerber was unreal, glass was cold when he let in the goal and hasnt really been tested after that.

Fisher's line has been dominating.

Volchenkov hit someone and they both got shaken up for a while, but both are okay.

Phillips and Mezzy have been solid. The Sens' forth line (youngsters) have been buzzing. Have played very well.
And what about Gerber?

i think he went right after him because he knew that the second that he let ondrus up it was going to be the other way around

Gerber looked great, no trouble, a few nice saves. He didn't have much to deal with though. His performance was strong though.

Gerber took two shots off the mask. The announcers said he did it on purpose.

Said he looked very comfortable.

He has now given way for Glass so he could have some playing time.

That's kind of the idea I got. That or they arranged it earlier, they just needed a reason to throw down. Nice little tilt though.
