GDT: New Jersey Devils @ New York Rangers 7PM 9/20 Preseason

New Jersey Devils (1-1-0) @ New York Rangers (1-0-0).

@

http://www.newsday.com/sports/hockey...orts-headlines

For the home and home series, Rangers coach Tom Renney divided the roster into two teams. Henrik Lundqvist is expected to start tonight at Madison Square Garden, along with former Red Wing Brendan Shanahan and Matt Cullen, two of the Rangers' prized free agents. Jaromir Jagr (shoulder) will not play. Weekes aggravated his groin in the scrimmages on Monday, rested yesterday and might not play

I hope they leave Dubinsky in and play Orr and take out Hossa, Lessard.

Anyone know the lines for tonights game??

I've checked numerous newspapers, websites etc... no indications of what players will be dressing tonight and who will be Lundqvist's partner as Weekes has groin issues...

Any info appreciated!!!

Eager to see the first line "dominate" like it did in camp.

For out of towners: last yr all preseason games were available on direct tv through the sportspack without any blackout restrictions. last night's games seemed to be blacked out. Has anyone else had this problem? i assume that means tonights game is blacked out?

I have lab during the game so I'll be reading the GDT to see how it went.

Hoffman-Orr-Byers-Weller-Taylor. Got to think that someone is going to be fighting someone else tonight. Anyway I'll be looking forward to seeing Graham, Moore and Girardi the most.

Lets hope that Orr and Cammie gettheir predestined dance out of the way real early so we can see these guys play..Yeah, including ORR, because we know he can take a punch, we gotta find out if he can skate, play and hit....Also real interested in seeing how GIRARDI, as well as Pock, does..Ditto for Lampman..Especially given the minor injury to Roszival and the sucktitude of Rachunek (just busting)

Nott that it matters because they are both pretty worthless, but are we talking the same Orr that turned his back, quit and got beat in his non-Goddard fights as a Ranger? OK, I'm just saying this to try and bring TBBB out of the woodwork... But seriously, Janssen ain't a bad fighter and never quits....

2 things. 1st I think it would be a good fight don't think your giving Janseen enogh credit he is a tough kid. 2nd I read somewhere Orr lost 25 lbs in the offseason to try to become a quicker skater. How do you think this will affect him when he is taking on some of the bigger guys in the league and they get a hold of each other and start wrestling. Do you think the weight he lost will hurt him?

Does Hoffman strike any fear in anyone or just an average minor league scrapper?

well, Orr is still bigger, the weight he lost was mostly excess weight (fat), and the fact is when Orr wins fights, he tends to break things doing it.

hey, maybe Orr doesn't win, but I think he's a better fighter than Janssen overall.
