Oh jeez, humor is misunderstood around here. I couldn't care less about the cheerleader/dancers (money makers comment was a joke) but I stand by my comment about arrogant Northern "elitists" who look down upon the Panthers with disdain. Sure there's exceptions but for the most part, Panthers = joke as far as most other fanbases are concerned and i'm a-ok with that. Go Panthers.

I think these ice dancers, and now cheerleaders, are ridiculous. I liked when they had girls that would shoot the shirts into the stands as they did get the crowd going by launching the shirts, but the cheerleaders are just obnoxious.

There happen to be quite a few northern Panthers fans and I for one am sick of it being OK on this board to insult us. Maybe the team is thought of as a joke by other fan bases due to the inability to make the playoffs, the mismanagement of assets, the revolving door of coaches/GMs. Or maybe it's due to comments like these that insult northerners.
