Damn are the B's really playing that line up? Their top 6 could eat our D-alive tonight with only Souray and Dandy having any real experience, and both not excellent defensively. Here's hoping for the best for our boys tonight, if our top line can pot a couple and Abby can step up, Pleks and Johnson could probably shut down the Kessel or Bergy line... ahh it's possible, haha, I think we can win this! But I'm an optimist if there ever was one

I've always liked seeing Carle playing on the pp when I was watching titans games. Carle is more of a passer and him and Souray would make a tremendous duo for a pp unit. Our d looks indeed weak but who cares..you gotta everybody some chances. Too bad, it's not going to be on RDS or CBC. I would have loved to see Grabs, Carle..etc.. in action.

uh oh....Bruins lineup is too strong compared to ours. I'm not sure it's doing the kids a favor to have them play games with so few veterans to support them.

I was hoping for a Kostitsyn - Grabovski - Kostitsyn

and what carbo is trying in putting grinder like Milroy on Manlow on the 2nd line when Kostitsyn, Perezhogin and Latendresse play on the 3rd or the 4th

I would use Aubin with Plekanec and use S.Kost with Grabo and A.Kost.

I hope Kosty jr. will play at least a game in pre-season.

Boston is icing most of there team. If we don't win, big deal. If we do (and I think we will) that team isn't half as improvement as Bruins fans would lead you to believe. I got this feeling that Kovalev and Grabovski are gonna have huge nights.

Habsfan18's biased prediction: We win 5-3 with goals by Kovalev, Sammy, Grabovski, Souray and Johnson. Abby lets in 1 goal and Danis lets in 2.

Habsfan18's realistic prediction: We play another penalty filled game with most of the penalties against us. People are immediately dissapointed with Grabo and Kosty and someone starts a thread stating they are busts. We lose 6-2.

Also, I really don't like the fact that Latendresse isn't dressing for tonights game. He earned it. This kid deserve the ice time to show us he can make it.

Hum, considering that not a single player will have been dressed for both games, why should Tender be dressing tonight ?

Yeah I know... but I feel as though Gui and Kostitsyn should play pretty much every game in order to show what they got.

Everyone has to get a look see before they are sent back.
The look see goes both ways. Each rookie must get a good sence of what an NHL game is like. Something to shoot for in his continued development.
I expect Carbo to send some guys back Friday.

The Friday game will be much different. Carbo should compose with all the better rookies along with at least 2 regular lines and so on.

WE MUST think this way, if the habs had hardly ANY good rookies like some other clubs, Carbo would have to ice most of his regulars every night. The fact he invited more and the Habs have lots of good rookies is a very good thing. The fact that Boston has to ice more regulars tonight is also telling.

Just let Carbo do his stuff. The last 4 games of the 8 game pre-season will tell all.

I'll be at the Bell Centre tonight ! Expecting to see exciting plays from Samsonov - Ribeirov - Kovalev line.

Finally, I'll get the chance to see for myself how Grabovsky does.. It's going to be his first real test against NHLers I guess. This guy got hyped so much on our boards and I don't trust anyone unless I see it myself !

Hey Bruins fans:

is this Kessel's third game now? Did he play the first game against NJ?

I'm surprised he's playing again tonight, but hey, good for him.

He didn't play against the Devils, so it's only his second game.

I couldn't care less who wins or what the score is, as long as the coaches are able to gauge which players are working out and which aren't, I'll be happy. Nailbiting for me only begins when the REAL season starts...

Tenkrat-Primeau-Donovan
Hoggan-Thompson-Karsums

Sigalet-Chara
Alberts-Dempsey
Lashoff-York

Other than the top 6 and Chara, the rest of the lineup isn't really strong. Alberts, Primeau, and Donovan will all be lesser players for Boston, while Tenkrat, Hoggan, Thompson, Karsums, Sigalet, Dempsey, Lashoff, and York are now all fighting for one job (one on offence, one on defence).

It's preseason. What should the Bruins do? Not let their players get into gameshape?
