OT Malkin makes debut on tv tonight...

According to this article:
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=178143&hubname=nhl

The pittsburgh/Philadelphia game will be shown on the NHL network tonight...on tops of that i'm sure it will show game highlights of the Habs-Bruins game

I don't have the Network, but I do live in Moncton.

(Only time I'll ever be proud of this fact )

This will be an exciting game. I am liking the changes that have been made to the league allowing these young players to really showcase their talents!! Too bad the Habs weren't able to get their hands on these three phenoms....for now anyways.

Malkin, Crosby, Leclair, Recchi, Staal, Gonchar, Armstrong on the Pittsburgh PP, my GOD they look good... I'm starting to think Pittsburgh can surprise this year, if not this year, next. Crosby is just amazing, Malkin already looking quite impressive albeit 7 minutes in... yeah, they've got a LOT of young, hard working, firepower-loaded talent. Loving this game already!

Haha, indeed indeed, I dunno, I guess since I'm here I've got a thing for youth but damn this time looks dangerous. However with a team as young as this, it can go up and down, and will I imagine throughout the season, IMO they will DEFINITELY be improved, Malkin looked so so talented in that first period, his addition alone will mean a lot.

I guess time will tell, but they are a team I'll watch closely for sure, great game so far, anyone who can watch should definitely be doing so!

With the Habs playing on the radio of course

I have NHL Network. And you see that Malkin will be a great one, but somebody who impressed me in the first period so far, is somebody, I wasn't too impressed with at the Memorial Cup...Jordan Staal. You see that there's a frame to bulk in his case but he has great positional skills, hit the post on a great play by the Syd. Armstrong is another one who impresses me, this guy will be just great for them with his inspired two-way play.

Another of my non-favorite player had a great offensive 1st period is Michael Sersen. Though I didn't see him defensively, he still moves the puck very well. But I still believe he's a liability defensively, I'll watch closely the rest of the game.

Can't believe I will watch my 2nd Pens game and no game for the Habs yet...

Oh no.... Malkin is favouring his left arm HEAVILY after colliding with Leclair.

He landed very awkwardly and cut his face and was bleeding, then he got up on his own and skated off on his own, but his arm looked in bad shape... ahh what terrible luck...

The collision looked absolutely brutal - I'm betting he broke his arm.

The way he was holding it on the way off, I would have to agree. I know nothing about these things except what I see on the ice, but thats quite possible. Terrible news for hockey fans, you could tell he was special right away. Damn damn damn, I hope it's not a break or anything and he's ok, if not hope hes back ASAP...
