Who would win in a fight between Henrik Lundqvist and a hurricane? But before you answer, the hurricane is Hurricane Henrik Lundqvist?

The inventors of the condom originally wanted to call their product "Henrik Lundqvist" but then soon realized that name wouldn't be appropriate because a condom is only 99% effective.

As much as I love Hank, that's impossible. No one can Roundhouse Kick Chuck Norris, but Chuck Norris, and that's impossible, because it would create a sonic boom big enough to kill everyone and blow the earth to hell. That's even if there was a way to clone Chuck Norris.

Remember the Soviet Union?

They decided to quit after watching a DeltaForce Marathon on Satellite TV.

You've been excommunicated.

Now Chuck Norris will roundhouse kick your head off.

Now this is an amazing thread. Perhaps this could rival the Poutine thread on the Canes board

Aha, but then he's Robin Hood, he robs the evil opposition of their goals and give glory and happyness to the poor fans.

Only one God but 5 Devils at the same time.

Bruins fan here... I don't know as I would call Lundquist God, but you've got yourselves a franchise goalie there. He's going to be a great one, barring injury.

Oh come now, don't you know the story of self sacrafice to absolve us all? That was last season, he suffered the injuries and took the punishment of playing injured and suffer humiliation and pain for all of us.

Now in the new season he is returned to us, alive and well, and ready to dominate all the way to the Vezina, errr, Stanley Cup, errr, fine both. Fine, maybe neither but he's still divine!

Hang on, you've just argumented for him being the Messiah, not God.

And even if the media was a little bit harsh at the end of the season, they didn't exactly crucify him.

I'll add the smiley this time.

This is all light hearted my friend, at the end of the day he is exactly what we needed, an heir to Richter.

But a quick look around HF will show you enough people that think Lundqvist didn't perform in the playoffs because he was intimidated or something rather than simply his being injured.

I kind of find it hard to buy the "intimidation" theory when he won a Gold Medal (every bit as huge as the Cup in Europe) only a few months prior.

And was far beyond stellar in the SEL playoffs the season before.

Now please all Ranger fans, can't you just decide that he's too good and ship him back?
Please?

If you hit up the Goalie Store Message Board, most 15 year olds consider him God.

I just think he might be approaching Sainthood
