Me too. I wish we were in the same conference and division as them so I could hate them even more!!! It could be such a great rivalry.

if you had center ice last year and watched any Leafs - Thrashers games you would understand my hatred for this team ... they're just plain dirty

fair enough, the only Thrash game that I watched was Heatley's return to Atl. That was a good one.

I think it's mostly all the credit they get for "great drafting" for picking kovalchuk, heatley and lehtonen...when anyone in the same position would have done the same thing.

meanwhile, what about stefan? coburn and valabik are questionable, as well.

I like most of their late picks better. Jordan LaVallee was a guy I really wanted the Preds to pick, and they've had good luck with people like Jim Slater as well.

Not too surprising. Henry will be put on IR to start the season and Poile & Co. will evaluate whether we can go with our current group of smaller, speedy puck moving defensemen or whether we will activate Henry when he is ready and send someone (Klein or Lehtonen/Zanon) down to Milwaukee.

My gut feeling says that Klein and Zanon will both be sent to Milwaukee and Klein will get the first recall with Zanon or Yonkman next (depending on our need for a big body at that time).

I think you are right on that, Klein and Zannon down, with Klein as the call up. I dont think we will see much of Yonkman at all though.

According to NHL.com's scoresheet...looks like Zidlicky, Legwand, Tootoo, Arnott, Sullivan, and Timonen are all scratched tonight. Yonkman is not playing either as he has been sent down to Milwaukee. Mason is in net.

Dumont sounds like he is getting a slow start tonight. He and Upshall arent finding any chemistry yet
