Haha... did anyone else completely forget that there was a game tonight? It didn't cross my mind even once today. I've been absorbed in JJ talk all day. I didn't remember until just now, when the game is halfway through the 1st period.

whoever or whatever, but Frolov needs to step it up a few notches this year. I think the entire organization is looking at him very close

Kopitar with a goal and an assist. You think that they're going to send him down now?

3-point night for Frolov so far.

So you're poking fun at people who aren't ecstatic about Frolov.

Good God - Avery's back in the box.
Strangely, SJ only has 1 SOG this period (pre-penalty).

Erhoff in the box, LA on PP.

Shoot the damn puck Lubo!! Looks like Brown to the box, goalie interference. So much for the PP.

If it was up to Tubby, he would have already been cut and skating in Manchester.
Tubby would have probably sent Ovechkin to Portland last year.

Tubby, I love you and your hockey acumen is brilliant and I mean that. I would agree with you that most EVERY 18 and 19 year old should play a year or so in the minors. I agreed with you on Dustin Brown a few years back, when he made the team at 18. He should have went back to Guelph (?) and played 22 minutes a night in every situation.

However, when you said that having Anze here this year in a losing environment would be detrimantal...c'mon. I don't understand that rationale. The Kings will probably be piss-poor next year too. It shouldn't factor in what you do with him, if he's ready to play in the NHL at a high level. The bottom line is, the Kings have more character this year and there will be zero tolerance for crap in the dressing room...Anze is one of the most mature and ready 19 year olds I've ever seen / read quotes from...and he is just a notch below Ovechkin and Crosby.

Sending him to Manchester will not make him a better player, just as having Crosby or Ovechkin in the AHL last year would have made them better players. Anze has played 2 years in Sweden away from home and in 2 World Championships and excelled against NHL players at the age of 17 and 18.
