Now I have to hate Markov even more, though I doubt that's possible. Ninnimaa will probably be hated in Montreal, but at least they can avoid using Traverse.
I am not sure how I feel about this. Ribero is a player I love to hate. I was gald that the Habs had D problems and was hoping they would sink a little before they did something about it.
Plekanec is probably better suited for their 2nd line anyway.
I have mixed feelings. I loved hating Ribeiro, but as much as I despise everything Hab-related, an original six franchise and true hockey town deserves better than a ****stain like him.

Did the play of Latandresse force Gaineys hand into opening a roster spot? Montreal are looking very weak at centre.
Kostitsyn, too, from what I have read. It was time for the Habs to move him, he wasn't as effective in Montreal as he once was. Still, he was fun to make fun of, damn, all the hatred will now be forced onto Sammy.
I can't fully answer without a war breaking out, because he's loved by most Habs fans. I just don't like his style. He's got talent, no question, but I don't like him.
On the one hand I'm thrilled we no longer have to see Ribeiro's histrionics and dramatics and sleezy little face on a regular basis but on the other hand I'll miss making fun of him -- he made it so darn easy. I wonder if he'll be "Stronger" in Dallas?
After the first game against the Habs we should have a poll on "who is the most disliked Hab now?" Hopefully someone will fill Ribs' skates for us.
Well I know that the Habs really needed a D man but I dont think that Niinimaa is the answer and if you consider who they traded to get Niinimma in the first place dosent compare to Ribeiro as much as I hate Ribeiro I think that maybe playing in Dallas will help him get his carrer back on track and the Habs will end up regretting this move.
