My patience wears thin. Every day I check BB.com& rbk.com to see if they have that beautiful 1970 black jersey for sale and everyday I get my heart broken. Anyone know when we can expect to see these? Imean Buffalo has it's new threads for sale.THE SEASON IS A WEEK AWAY!

So now BB.com has the 3rd jersey available with "no image available, but you can't get it personalized. I went to the mall of NH and asked around and was told that they "could not order the jersey". anyone have any news about when we might actually see these for sale?

I'm not sure where or if you can get them online, but I picked one up in the pro shop yesterday. I asked the guy how much they were, expecting an answer of around $200, but they were only $95, so I figured why the hell not.

I ordered mine a few months back off of rbk.com and still haven't received it. They e-mailed me a few weeks ago and said if I don't receive it within 30 days then they are going to cancel my order. Nice service, huh?

I just wish that Savard would of chosen another # instead of #71 it just reminds me of Slegr too much and also Chara wearing #33 I dont like it at all 33 is a # for a goalie.

I think the Cam Neely era jerseys were better than the throwbacks they have now.

There is some debate about the third jerseys, isn't there? Everyone is expecting the black early '70s jersey, but BostonBruins.com had that article about Hannu, and said they would be patterned on the '66-'67 jersey:

Taking a queue from the famous movie and hoping to play off the Bruins vintage third jerseys, which are made to look like the B's 1966-67 sweater, Toivonen is sure to cut quite the profile this year as he skates onto TD Banknorth Garden ice.

By the way, the 1966-67 season was a particularly historic one for the Bruins, as it was Bobby Orr's rookie campaign.

The 1966-67 jerseys were, according to nhluniforms.com, either gold or white. So are they going to be gold? I suppose either the article or the nhluniforms site could be wrong...

They still keep saying it's the 67 jersey, but it is going to be the black one. They just have their heads up their *****.

If it was good enough for Sheldon Kennedy it's good enough for Chara.
