Montreal lines for the heritage game!

Forwards

Steve Shutt - Mark Napier - Guy Lafleur
Benoît Brunet - Guy Carbonneau - Stéphane Richer
Chris Nilan - Kirk Muller - Russ Courtnall
Yvon Lambert - Bobby Smith - Claude Lemieux

Sub: Cam Connor

Defense

J-J Daigneault - Guy Lapointe
Gaston Gingras - Lucien Deblois
Craig Ludwig - Larry Robinson

Goalers

Steve penney
Richard Sévigny

With Patrick Roy in the net for the habs, the game would be different.

My prediction : Oilers 6 - Habs 3

I had no idea Richer was playing. He should be fun to watch.

Guy Lapointe? Can he even stand up anymore? Wow! This is going to be weird.

But where's Pierre Larouche? I guess only 1 non-checking French sharpshooter (Richer) per team, huh?

Well no offense to the Oilers but if Roy played the Habs would have won with a shutout, i mean Roy was still a elite goalie a year ago....not 15 yrs ago.Anyways should be interesting.....I can see lots of goal!!

He was asked to play by Habs heritage coach and close friend Jacques Demers and declined.

Jacques Demers said that Roy was asked and said no. I think he just wants to spend time away from the game.

Because he's a selfish dick. Has been since 1993 or so. It's Gretzky's show, and Roy's ego is still bruised from not being selected as one of the first 8 for the Olympic team.

Never thought I'd say this, but I wish Racicot, JCBergeron and Fred Chabot were suiting up for the Habs.

What about Ed Jablonski? I just want to hear the anouncers say that name again.

Actually, I would have liked to see Brian Hayward play in this game. He was pretty good back in the late 80s.

Is Andy Moog suiting up for the Oilers?

I think Moog and Billy Ranford are suiting up for the Oilers.
