Turco pulled a Cloutier

Wow, A shot from Center Ice in the 3rd goes right in.

So is Turco earning his new fat salary yet ?

Why don't they call it an Osgood? He let in 3 in one playoffs.

Actually, I call it an Ozzie. If I could hold an awards banquet, I would pass out 5 of them for the 5 softest goals of the year.

I would like to point out that Zenith Komarniski scored his only NHL goal from his own blueline(thereabouts) on none other than PATRICK ROY. And yes, it was a regular season goal, 1999-2000 season. And Osgood let in 3 in 1 playoff season, as someone else pointed out. It doesn't JUST happen to Cloutier!! :p

Clouts had it happen once i think.
I think he's had it happen a couple of times. He's not Osgood, but he's no brick wall either.

In his tenure in Vancouver, Cloutier has only allowed one center ice goal, and that was Lidstrom's. I can't speak for his tenures elsewhere, but from what I've seen, Osgood did it a lot more. And my Patty Roy/Zenith Komarniski story is still there.

Sure other goalies have let in Centre Ice shots, but Clouts's was just so ... infamous

Everybody knows about 'the shot' that Cloutier let in and changed the entire momentum of the series, and hell possibly the playoffs allowing Detroit to get in gear and win the Cup.

That's why I call it a Cloutier :p

Pulling an Osgood is being awesome in the reg season, terrible in the post.

Pulling a Roy is a statue of liberty save while not saving anything :p

Osgood did let a few center ice goals in the 1998 playoffs. But after the Dallas one, he did shut out the Stars in game 6 of the WCF's on the way to win the cup.

Clouts center ice goal destroyed the Nucks playoffs.
It will be interesting to see how Turco responds.
