Sucks then... I liked the Killers' Hot Fuss cd. Havent heard the new one yet. They may not be heavy or even complex music but you can't argue the fact that those guys can write good hooks. Anyway, this week is all about the new Sloan, new Decemberists and some good old AC/DC.
Oh and for the record, The Killers are not emo. They're not even close to emo. Sunny Day Real Estate is emo in the purest sense. That evolved over the years in crappy emo like Fall Out Boy. If you listen to either of those bands, then listen to Killers and you still find them emo, well I'll call Iron Maiden hip-hop.
It's funny because, I really don't care at all. If he wants to listen to horrible music thats his perogative. But it's more so the rise I get out of him. He defends them worse then I insult them. Like I don't know about you guys, but if somebody doesn't like a band you like, deal with it. Don't cry on and defend them to the bitter end, people have their own opinions, learn to deal with peoples opinions Ghost-X, now all though your opinion of the Killers is that they are good, many other people may or may not agree with you. And many emo kiddies and non emo kiddies listen to the killers. Are you going to not like them because they're emo even though they listen to a band you love? Are you going to stop listening to them if their next CD comes out and the genre classification is "emo". LOL
Really though, I don't care really whether or not they're emo, my opinion is that they are but whether or not is irrelevant, what's relevant is how funny it is to watch ghost defend his killers to the end even though it's an opinion. That's y I keep doing this. Because he's dense. Nothings sinking in about the fact of the matter. Which is that people have their own opinions and if you don't like their opinions or them that sucks for you but it's still an opinion and I'm allowed to have one. I wasn't the one who asked if the ppl thought the new killers cd was good, he did. I gave him my answer and he didn't like my answer.
