Fantasy Advice Thread (Merged)

I took Radulov in my fantasy draft, and need some help on expectaions for this year, RW is my weakest position with Lehtinen and J. Williams. Will Radulov be a better fantasy producer then either of them.

I'm wondering the same thing. Which line does it look like he'll play on?

Right now, looks like he might start the year in Milwaukee.

Arnott and Dumont:

Who are their linemates...are they both considered top 6 forwards....will either get top PP time ??

So far our lines are not set nor do I think they'll stay the same as Trotz loves to juggle lines.

The notion going preseason was:

Kariya - Arnott - Erat
Sullivan - Legwand/Vasicek - Dumont

I think we might see something like:

Sullivan - Arnott - Erat
Kariya - Legwand/Vasicek - Dumont

Arnott will be on the first PP unit and Dumont likely on the second PP unit.

Erat

Hi Predsland

I picked Erat in my pool and I wanted to know if, as I expect, he'll be playing on the top 2 lines and second PP unit.

Thanks for the info

Erat will be on a top 2 line and should get a good amount of PP time too.

Strange question. Wouldn't they be top 6 on just about any team?

Well, yes under normal circumstances...but not on a team with the likes of Jordin Tootoo and Vernon Fiddler.

Fantasy Advice Thread

There has been a lot of fantasy questions being asked on the boards of late. Lets try and keep most of them centralized in this thread.

I was wondering if you were going to do anything or just keep the title.

I selected the merge into this thread option, but aparently it just merged under this title . Ah well, I guessing I'm still going through growing pains.

Vokoun?

How has he played in the pre-season? has the blood clot issue been resolved. I need a goalie other than Kipper(I think he'll $h;!! the bed this year, and everyone in the pool will take him)

There are no issues tied to the blood clot, and Vokoun will likely play 65-70 games this year. A good fantasy pick.

I hope so. I'm only allowed two goalies in this pool, and I took Henrik Lundqvist as my other one. I think they will both be good picks, until they run into the Oilers in the playoffs! It's a complete season pool

I know Radulov got sent to milwaukee, but i have him in my league and we have a deep bench so do you guys think it may be worth holding onto him until he gets a callup? a late season darkhorse perhaps?

we and even the coaching staff think he'll be up earlier than that. probably the first time a forward is injured, he'll be up.

I think its a risky pick anyways. If you have room, stash him. If you need to pick somone else up, then go ahead and do it. If he does get a spot, it will be on one of the top 3 lines, but there is no guarantee that he will recieve more than second line PP duties or get more than 10 - 12 minutes a night.

So has Vokoun been as bad as his stats show? Has the entire team just sucked or what? I took him in the first round (12th overall) and I hope it doesn't end up biting me in the butt. Any insight is much appreciated, thanks.

Well yeah, he has been as bad as his stats show. Still, he is a world class goalie and should be able to rebound.

Not to worry. Pencil him in for 40 wins and a low GAA after the first three weeks of the season.

Hey Guys,
I have Arnott on my team. Whats his deal? Has he looked good? Is he finding his place on the team? Sullivan has done well but I haven't seen much (on paper) from Arnott, or Kariya for that matter.

Thoughts and opinions? Should I trade him, I might get something good from him.
