That unstoppable horn last night was pretty hilarious - the Wild announcers, who've been around since North Star days, said they'd never seen, nor heard, the likes of it.
A couple of days ago we lost complete power at the Wachovia center, now an ongoing horn yesterday, it's a technique we use to throw the other teams off their game. It seems to work fine so far.
It's all part of the master plan. Opposing teams come into the WC thinking "what the hell is going to go wrong tonight?" A new and creative incident each night keeps them on their toes. Unfortuneately, the crew really dropped the ball last night when game clocks also went down. It's a long season, can't go using all the tricks in the bag early.
Anyone else find it highly ironic that the lights went out at the start of a power play, which as we all know is sponsored by the power company?
