Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins - GDT's - 2006-2007

Dawgbone edit:

Here is the official Wilkes Barre Scranton Game day thread. This is the thread for All of the Baby Penguins game talk (i.e. score updates, lineups, etc..) for all of their games during the 06/07 season.

I just figured that since 3 of our highest pro-filed prospects are on this AHL team, and we are all freaking starved for professional hockey, I'd throw up a GDT.

Maybe we should turn this into a thread devoted to Wilkes-Barre to avoid clutter? I'm definitely in favor of getting some regular updates on our guys there (I really am curious to see what kind of minutes Gilbert and Brodziak get and if Pouliot and Schremp both get to play centre) but we don't want too many threads devoted to similar topics. It could work out well if we just keep track of Wilkes-Barre's games in this thread...

I expect Schremp and Pouliot to both have hat-tricks. Anything less is a failure

Will Pouliot play? I can't imagine he'd have even skated with the team before game time.

That said, hes probably their most NHL ready player and a coachable guy so Id be suprised if they sat him for that reason alone.

Awesome news, that's great that both Pouliot and Schremp will be on the top line! A slick playmaker like Pouliot, a grinder like Stone and a pure offensive guy like Schremp should make an awesome line!

Exactly....now i'm hearing that Pouliot may not make it in time to dress for tonight's game. They may hold him out to avoid any sort of injury or miscommunication with teammates.....give him until Saturday night to practice.

I agree, could we sticky this thread and have this be the season long WBS thread?

I must say the WBS organization is being very generous with our players and where they are playing if game 1 is any indication.

someone's been doing it, not sure how though

I considered: video/audio hookup from comp. to TV -> tivo -> dvd recorder

but it seems like an awful lot of work

I am thinking of ordering it but have kids to take care of tonight and will only be able to watch it sporadically plus it would be nice to watch it more than once.

I do have a DVR but yeah that does seem like a lot of work and it comes up in Windows Media Player window so I am not sure that will transfer or not?

Thanks for the link.

Not sure if I will be able to do it tonight. I tried to install it and it froze near the end. The program is listed so I tried it and it gives me an error message. I tried to uninstall for a fresh install but the uninstall program freezes up too.

I have plenty of space on my comp and newer comp so none of that is a problem.

Is it just me, or is it cool that *some* of our prospects get to play in Scranton, which is where Dundler Miflin from 'The Office' is supposed to be?!?

Oh yeah, and its cool if Schremp and MAP are on the 1st line

I don't really watch the show, but that one guy Michael was wearing a WBS pens jersey in an episode last season.

That interview they had with Talbot was really good, he seems like a super nice guy.

Better than them playing in Slough. I imagine the ice there would be right terrible.

Maybe I'm not reading this right but why aren't Gilbert or Brodziak playing? I understand leaving Pouliot out of the lineup tonight but it's very disappointing to see one of our top defensive prospects not getting into the first game. Might this be another Syvret with Hamilton situation?
