World Cup of Hockey - St. Paul dates

Anyone here going to the games at the Xcel Center? I'm trying to round up a posse of my buddies for the games, could be great times. Wow are the tickets ever cheaper for Minnesota than for Toronto, I wonder why there is such a difference?

Paid for my tickets just the other day (season tix benefit). I'm looking forward to it. I'd guess that the price difference comes down to demand and the additional (championship) game.

Hmm, that's interesting (price difference). I would agree with Ceber in that they can probably afford to charge more in Toronto based on demand.

I can't wait for the World Cup myself (I also picked up my seats). Hopefully it won't be the only hockey going on next year, but if it is it should be a great show.

It'll be a lot better than the all-star game (where no one hits/cares).

I'll be going to all 4 games. Might be the only hockey I get next year if they decide to have a lockout.

I'm curious to find out how many tickets end up being available. I have a feeling a lot of season ticket holders are going to take the option to buy their seats for the games.

Any word on whether or not the games in Canada and Europe will be broadcast anywhere in the states?
