I just want everyone's summary of Huet before season begins, all the ideas are all over the place and vote for these options because I want to see HF's Habs Fans general ideas about our no 1.

I see Huet performing a bit under last season, with some stretches at that same level. Pretty generic, but I have faith in him.

I have no idea what to expect from Huet this season; I don't have a crystal ball.

I think he's for real and will be good, but slightly a bit worse than last season.

Because I have no idea how to competently judge a goaltender's positioning and technique, and how this will translate into future play. But there are people who have this knowledge and understanding, and some seem to say he will continue to be very good, and some say that his lateral weakness has been exposed and that it started showing late in the season.

I picked

Huet is for real and he will play great

but he may well take us to the cup. As long as Gainey plugs any holes at the deadline and there are no major injurys in the playoffs.

Huet will be fine...and if he falters a bit, Abby will be there to pick up the slack.

I think I don't like the fact huet is changing his equipment. He looked more confortable in his old pads and all. Usually for good goalies, equipment change has no importance (my opinion)......but take Theo as an example, his pads sucked like hell...

Theres an article on huet on canadiens.com saying how hes posted consistant numbers for most of his career. I dont how he can go from one of the best in the second half to a very ordinary goalie. Huet is the type thats going to work hard to make adjustment if he has to. Hes not here to have a good time. Hes calm and he did not let the presure take the best of him last year so why would it be diferent this year. Theres allways a concern on him screwing up but I think hes going to be fine.

The only team in the east that dosent have question mark in net are the devils with brodeur. I dont get it why every one is saying how we are the ones with question marks and every one else are fine.

Tim tomas - same amount of experience as huet
Mark Denis-never made the playoffs
Ryan miller- 2nd full season this year
Cam Ward - same amount of experience as huet
Gerber- 2nd full season this year
Lundqvist- 2nd full season
Nittymaki-2nd full season

7 teams whios goalies pretty much have the same amount of experience as huet and yet the book is out on huet .

Huet

He will be average and Abby will take over pretty soon as the only number 1 for the Habs. But in february Abby will get traded for Zetterberg

But the book is so complicated that you need to align 5 moons 3 sun and 4 planets together , while having a 5 on 3 power play and a fake puck in you hand to score a single goal.

Have a litlle faith in your team guy!
OK we get burn with Theo, but all the goalie are not in the same league! I mean could you imagine Eddie Belfor with Paris Hilton?

OK for real I am pretty sure Huet will do great this season, but our defense must keep the pace.
