Suprise! Buckley goes to talk to Jacobs about the team and the changes made to the team, such as personel, and he talks about the changes to the arena and his money machine

What a trooper Donovan is, playing with a broken ankle? Wow!

I'm guessing he's going to pot 15+ this year- I can't wait!

I love in the "Z-factor" article, Chara's answer when asked whether he'd rather score a goal or prevent one: "My satisfaction comes in winning the game." Just another reason for me to like this guy and pinch myself again to make sure we really got him. I can't wait for tomorrow!

“I thought, ‘Perfect,’ ” said Donovan with a smile and shake of the head. “I knew there was something wrong, but I kind of felt like a wuss complaining about it.”

Man, born to be a Bruin....Old school style! Played most of the year with a broken ankle

Brad Boyes RW 6-1 200 24 $1.5 million

The quick and crafty Boyes, a natural center, had a fabulous rookie year last season with 33-42--75 totals. He and Bergeron seem to have an innate understanding of each otherís play, often called chemistry. If the Bís hope to win this year, that chemistry must still work.

Where did they get those numbers?

The Boyes digits were from his year in Providence 04-05.

Hey I'd be bitter too if my team hadn't signed him. Can't say I blame you. Oh, and you spelled diarrhea wrong.

I wasn't trying to be mean !!!! I just thought that Chara's answer was the kind of answer all Hockey players like to give, very '' safe '''

as for Diarrhea ! you can also write it Diarrhoea etc...

http://rehydrate.org/resources/index.html

But to come back to Chara, I think that at 7.5 million, It was too huge a risk for someone who even though he played with arguably the league's top defenceman ( on a team with the league's top offense ) in Wade Redden, only managed to get around 40 points ....

Well

I can't blame 29 teams for hesitating

I hope it works out for you guys though !

but just remember ! he ain't no Scott Neidermayer ...

Chara isn't about points. Yeah he had 40 some odd points a few years in a row, but he was a finalist for the Norris Trophy as BEST DEFENSEMAN both years. It's not just points when talking about Chara. He's maybe THE best shut-down d-man in hockey, in addition to his offensive skills, which have gotten better every year I might add. He was the best free agent available and the Bruins got him. And they also got the 2nd best free agent available when they signed Savard. It's kinda hard not to get excited about something like that.
