Archer returns, Dogs/leafs

The Bulldogs are back at it again tonight. Andrew Archer is back from injury and is playing inhis first pro game.

Fichuad in nets. Milroy in, I think, missed the opening.

Dogs 1-0 Gratton (Dagenais, Komo) 3 seconds left in the 1st when Dagenais shoots it, and Gratton gets the deflection.

Here's a link to the AHL scoring leaders. Gratton leads the league, Dagenais is tied for 3rd, and Plekanec & Balej are tied for 11th.

I Was at the game tonight, wish I had not gone. You know how your mother says that if you have nothing good to say about someone, don't say anything at all. Well, that takes care of the offence. They might have completed 25% of their passes and had no sustained pressure all night.

I liked Archer, he made some nice hits and played a solid game. Komisarek played good too. I spent most of the night watching komisarek and I have to say he is impressive, a very smart hockey player.

Well, at least Harold Druken gave the home fans something to Cheer about. He played a good game.

i'd like to say only one thing? What a mistake Bob Gainey did by claiming damphousse in the waivers!! We have incredbile goalies for the future! Théo will do the job for a couple of years, then we have garon, who could be good for an interessant trade, michaud is plenty of potential, tasarov is in europe but he has some potential too...
Well, i'll always say this...claiming damphousse was a mistake

Tasarov wanted to be back-up in the NHL not in the AHL ... So forget him . Michaud is fine in the ECHL right now , he see a lot of ice time and i heard he's doing well so it's a win-win situation . He's a longshot .

But i agree , it was a bad move ... Damphousse is brutal .

7 games into it, and he's already a mistake? It cost us nothing to get him. So Michaud has to play in the ECHL, no big loss, IMO.

I didn't really thought about it until I saw he was leading the ahl in points right now but eeehh ... How about giving Gratton a shot? I mean the guy can't do better and they should reward him... Even if it's only for a few games, just give him a little candy. At worst you send him back in the AHL and at the best you might found a good agitator.

he could be a decent 3rd or 4th liner but we have too many 3rd and 4th liner in Montreal . i belive the team will give him a shot when one of Juneau / Dackell leave the team .
