Yeah, that game-winner was an incredible play. The poise, patience, and self-confidence that this kid has at that age is unbelievable. Wove his way in, slowly dangling the puck while his linemates caught up, then cut across the high slot and pulled all three defenders to his side of the ice before dropping it off to White. The goalie was the only Av who knew where the shot was coming from, and it was like fish in a barrel for Todd. All three skaters were just totally baffled by Bouchard, standing there like statues waiting to see what he was going to do next. Damn, that was pretty, wasn't it?

Bouchard should have had about 5 points tonight, and I didn't even watch the whole game. I think he has a very real shot at putting up a ppg this year. He looks much stronger, confident, and his playmaking is incredible. Not a stretch to think he'll soon be one of the best playmakers in the game.

i love bouchard however, he isn't gonna get as much playing time as many. He got what 13 minutes, thats about what he got last year.

He isn't gonna get the 21 mins like gabby/demitra/rolston.

The kid can play though.

I'm not surprised to see this thread here, as I was going to start one myself - Butch was as exciting as Gaborik last night, great skating, moves, passes and shots, it's all there. Rolston was also a beast last night. Man, with 2 great lines, this team will be fun to watch. I also picked Schultz out as playing very well, and so was happy to see Lemaire give him props in the press conference.

I watched a bit of the game last night cause I got Gaborik and Demitra in my pools , and yes Bouchard looked really good out there.Right after the first goal he came back with a great shift.Great speed, good shot, good hands,I think he needs to burry his chances do.But yes at that age it will only get better.Go luck to the Wild this season they are my darkhorse pick in the West

I'm in a fantasy league and Bouchard was my last pick. I'm glad to hear this about him. I hope he can get about 65-70 points this year.

Let's see, two games, two game winning set-ups by Bouchard. He's arrived folks.

He also had a sweet spin-o-rama move that fooled everybody in the house as well. What a treat to watch.

Remember when he was drafted and people said he was too small to make any kind of impact?

How many of those idiots are kicking themselves right now?

I still can't wait to see Bordeleau tear it up, that guy has a huge frame and skills to round it out.

Bordeleau will never make it. He's too big.
