Campbell takes a penalty and Atlanta goes up 4 to 0. Belfour is finally pulled...thanks for noticing Jacques.

4-0 Atlanta. Martin is looking at Auld so hopefully he's coming in now.

Something isn't working tonight.

Yes, Auld is in net now.

After Auld is in net, we actually got some nice passing on that play.

Belfour would still get the lost tonight right, unless (by some miracle) the Panthers score 4 before the game is over and Atlanta scores the deciding goal right?

It looks like the Panthers are starting to wake up a little, it seems the team is a bit more confident in front of Auld.

Mezei pushing Sim around, haha.

I hope getting Auld in net will be the spark we need tonight if he makes some nice saves.

Where's that penalty on Melanby?

5-on-3 now for Atlanta.

Sim seems to be getting under our guys' skins again tonight...our penalty machine (Mezei) better watch himself before he gets suckered into one.

Man, Auld's really getting pelted...our defense better lock up. Van Ryn is getting penalized...5 on 3 advantage for Atlanta...

We looked awful that period - but you wont win many games with goaltending like that....
Martin is only saying that so that Belfour does not become a problem. Auld is our #1 guy without a doubt, but he's still not one to be relied upon for 60+ games. Unfortunately, the Eagle will still get more ice time than he should.

If the Panthers can get through this, this will be a huge boost.

I think that's the case as well...otherwise, Martin is an idiot if he really believes that crap.

You can thank your boy Keenan for getting the Eagle here. As it stands now, that was the last straw in which Martin failed to be consulted in player movement that got Keenan fired afterwards.

Um, didn't you hear? Martin had final say. He also coached Belfour before in case you missed it and as GM/coach now has final say in who plays for this team and starts in net.
