Congratulations to Yann Danis!

En signant sa 48e victoire dans l’uniforme des Bulldogs, Yann Danis est devenu le gardien le plus victorieux de l’histoire de l’équipe. Il a bloqué 29 des 32 lancers dirigés vers lui.

After his awesome win last night, he now holds the record for most wins by a goaltender in the history of the Bulldogs. That's an enormous accomplishment and speaks volumes for his consistency!

Seriously, this kid must be the luckiest ever. He didn't start playing hockey until he was 7 or 8, goes to an Ivy League University because he didn't think he'd play pro, wasn't drafted and signs with the team he idolized growing up. Last year he gets a shutout in his NHL debut, plays in the All-Star game on a fluke because someone got injured and ends up being the MVP. I can't wait to see what kind of luck and talent he brings to the Canadiens. Congratulations Yann!

He'd be even luckier if he played in an organization that didn't have two NHL calibre goalies ahead of him in the depth chart.

Plekanec was the MVP in 2004-2005 during the lockout.

Danis was co-MVP (with Wade Flaherty i think) 2005-2006.

He also gives us the great opportunity to trade one of our #1 goalies for some help (DEFENSE!).
