A lot of these are just careless plays.

We need to get more intelligent here.

Forsberg looks like a baby learning how to walk. Gets up, walks a few feet, falls on his ***. Same skit each game.

Nice to see Dawes is allowed to get tackled behind the net and its a good play according to the refs.

seriously...one penalty here and there is part of hockey.

consecutive penalties kill you (unless you're playing against the Rangers PP)

just...cmon.

there's no reason this game should even be tied.

It was even strength when the goal was scored...

things were going fine, then they take two penalties and are behind again.

i haven't even seen jagr or shanny's line since those penalties.

This is your typical early season game: some moments are scary, others are encouraging. It's just a lot of chemistry mistakes, and the result of some guys trying to do too many things.

It's not the end of the world, and I'm not so sure that this game is set in stone just yet. Momentum changes are possible and so is another change in who goes ahead.

The two penalties in this period had nothing to do with the last goal. It was even strength on that last one. Stop hopping the bandwagon and think that each goal scored by the Flyers is on the PP.

They're talking about how talented Tyutin is, and then he gets lost and Gagne takes advantage. Irony.

I blame it on the penalties because the flyers got momentum from two consecutive power plays, one of which they scored on.

it hurts your team when your best players can't get on the ice for over 4 minutes and the other teams best players get to work freely

Again what I said in the last GDT, the Rangers are still having trouble setting up in the offensive zone. Out of the 7 goals scored in this game, I would say at least 4-5 of them are random luck chance goals.

The Flyers skate down the ice, drop pass, shoot. It might not work, but its something.

The Rangers skate down the ice, always outnumbered (like a 2 on 3), and make random passes into the Flyers D.
