Our 3rd D Pairing

These guys struggled last night, and I really hope this doens't become our weakness. I think we should give Jackman a shot and play him with Mezei.

our d didnt struggle last night.. maybe a bit but it wasnt an all night type of thing.. Montador was the weakest link who turned over the puck and lead to a flury of shots for auld..

I don't think they struggled they did a decent job, if it isn't broke dont fix it. Right now the beginning of the season and everyone played well yesterday. however I would like to see Jackman play early on. I Just dont want to give up that physical edge Montador gives us...

Was it just me, or did I see the 3rd pairing out there with the Bertuzzi line? That may have to do with some of what you saw.

He was sent down to the AHL on one of the last days of camp. He'll probably be the 1st call up on defense though we're carrying a few extras already in Kiwi and Jackman in addition to our starting 6.

sorry to say van ryn played poorly last night, but bouw looked almost like a developing bobby orr. he was jumping in the rush and carrying the puck he looks like he had a lot of confidence. his skating was awsome!!!!!!

Montador didn't play at ATL...that was Kiwi.

Mike did not have a very good game. He even admitted it.
Unfortunately, no one had a good game. It's just one game...i'm sure they will bounce back and play much better on Monday at TOR.

He was talking about the Boston game in reference to Montador's efforts then.
