Carbonneau's reactions during game time?

Do you like them? Does he look unprofessional? I'd say he was nervous because he wanted his first win...but I've never seen a coach acting this much in a game. I've nothing against him...even if there was fire everywhere in the bell center, Gainey would not react.

I liked how he voiced his displeasure with the refs but didn't go overboard. We are always getting screwed in Toronto and it happened again on Saturday.

A lot of coaches in the NHL react on every call. It's his personality so let him have it. Plus, it's not as if he's a rookie coach that no one knows. He's a rookie coach that had a long successful almost all-star career as a player. I'm pretty sure that everyone out there respects him.

I think Carbo's reactions are cute, because I've never seen a coach have those facial expressions before. Whenever he's mad he looks like he's either watching a comedy or drinking sour milk.

I don't feel he reacts badly though.

i didn't think Carbo looked unprofessioinal at all, he looked like any other ccoach to me. his reactions were fair, he wasn't disrespectful IMO

btw, did u see when the CBC showed gainey while ryder scored in the shootout in one of their replays...classic.

I'm guessing it wasn't his St. Hubert BBQ reaction.

I haven't noticed carbo's reactions too much, i did notice Gainey's non-reactions. Gainey is a cyborg and shouldn't be used to gauge other coaches reactions.

CArbo's fine. If you want to look at a coach who overeacts, watch Tortorella.

Gainey didn't even move a single muscle in his face Ryder scored the winner, a serious LOL! moment.

As for Carbo, I don't see anything disrespectful in how he carries himself behind the bench at all.

he is a rookie he will get used to those new emotions.

it just like when you did it for the first time.. i guess it wasnt the same eh?? you probably make some faces... hahaha lollll

but seriously, he will change that very quick, simply because he wasnt like that when he was assistant.. he knows the profile but man, some people here are just wasting energy.

Guy can act however he wants. I was not a fan of Bob and the no reaction (even though I know he is so patient calm cool and collected). But I would rather have a coach show a little passion behind the bench. Gainey is a better builder!

That's surely not enough to make Gainey smile...

I can not believe Gainey's reaction- if you just were to watch the end you would without a doubt think that the Leafs won!
