Whats this? They didnt have this last year... can anyone enlighten me? will it kick off at 6:30?
I think exclusive game night is that no other game is played that night, and that VS have exclusive rights for that game.

Tonights game better be good lol, its the first game I get to watch live!! Who are the announcers any way? any good? Should be a physical game, because you know that shootout loss has to sting, couple that with the fact that the flyers are win-less should make for a fast, hard hitting game. Atleast I hope so. Should be fun

I'll probably only watch the first period. One reason I'd rather it be on MSG is that I can catch up on the rest of the game the next day. Anyway if the Flyers dress the same lineup as Saturday I see no reason to dress Orr. It takes two to tango (and to tangle) and I didn't see any real partner for him in the Philly lineup the other day. In any case Ward is the better and much more useful player.

This will be our toughest game yet this year. Philly probably should have won the other night, and now they will be seeking major revenge tonight. That team is so potent offensively...I'm scared about this one.

I was reading in the daily news this morning that Ward sat out at practice today and Kaspar will most likely make his debut tonight.

That's a major loss for us on the blue line. I dont think we'll be able to stop Forsberg, Gagne and Knuble.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!! Nothing would be better than an early season home and home sweep against the Flyers...besides maybe the Devils, but we don't have any with them until february. So this would work nicely.

That line scored a few opening night on their ice and we still won, I think it'll be ok. I say another OT for these two clubs, they put on some great shows. Lets hope its not that close, I don't need an ulcer this early in the season.

What I would like to see is fewer penalties. Too many so far.

Hey guys,

I don't follow Rangers much and I'm curious to know the reason for playing Shanny on the second line. Anything aside from the obvious depth reasons? Can someone fill me in please?

Thanks.

Depth reasons. The top line of Straka-Nylandera-Jagr was so good last season, Renney didn't want to break it up.

I think the main reason is he plays a completely different game than the Jagr line does. Shannahan plays a North South game while the Europeans play a more fancy game. They did play a few games together in preseason but it did not work out according to Renney.

Should be a good one to watch tonight, NY should stay out of the box and try to put this one away early. If they don't dress Orr, TBBB can watch the free fight on Spike TV.

Anyone out there who know any good live stream company you can buy NHL games from? What is this Vs., is that a normal channel or a streaming channel? Didn't seem to be available for non-US.
