A very good article about this week

Hey guys, here s a great article found in cyberpresse
I m by no mean a good translator, but I tryed...I m sure there a couple of mistakes...

Once again this year we ll evaluate the players weeklyand we ll give them a mark every monday morning, heres how it works :
2 factors are to be considered in this evaluation, his mark and ice time, the mark representing what we think of him while ice time represens how much trust Carbo have him him
So how did we evaluate the players ? We give him a mark starting from 6.0 and then we add and substract during the game
Here s what we count: Passes, pass reception, hits, puck control and shots. Goalies are judged on their positionning, control of rebounds, play with the puck and the key saves

So for this week Aebi has been the best , he stopped the leafs PP (1 on 6) by doing key saves with great positionning and a good sens of anticipation
Higgins Koivu and Johnson ties at 2nd, Higgins and Koivu were the best line of the habs against buffalo since their line completed with Ryder have produced 8 pts. Higgins and Koivu are ahead of Ryder because of their work in the PK. Higgins
is a littl;e ahead of Koive because Koivu got a 4min penalty in the 2nd period vs Buffalo
Huet offered a nice performance but key saves werent there in the last 5 minutes

The middle
We have a grape of 8 players, guys that have offered a good performance without being good or bad
Kovalev, -3, Plek -2, and Samsonov -2 werent necessarly responsible of the golas scored while they were on the ice, but they didn t reply
Bonk and Begin gained marks mostly while playin PK Begin gave his 3 hits on the same shift against Toronto
Perez showed he could be useful if he uses his speed to go get the free puck like he did in Johnson Goal

Markov and Komi were the best paid of Ds, Markov can loose the puck once in a whilebut he s by far the mos creative. We like Komi s physical play and he has greatly improved his play with the puck
The others
Souray - River and Dandenault - Niinimaa have to be more solid if the habs want to have a positive season
Rivet had good moments in Pk he blocked 4 shots but he had to protect his partnet better when Briere got away with the puck
Souray had an awful end of game against the Sabres while being in big part responsible for the 2 last Sabres goals. He also didn t look good on Stajan s goal vs TO
Dandenaul did very good at blocking shots (6) but got bad penalties vs TO, he has to be intense to perfor, but he s got to control thisintensity at the same time
Niinimaa blocked 4 shot, he looked a bit nervous but we ll give him a chance for his new start
Murray and Lats are the guys being the less used by the coach, but when on the ice they did their job
