Disgraceful that Carter only received 3 more and Umberger 2 more minutes than Kane. Clarke lease give these guys quality minutes or trade them.

Okaaay! Nice to see that Nitty is getting the nod again.
I hope we dont get our *** kicked tonight, and i surely doesn't hope that the players are tired after the game last night. It's gonna be a close one.
Predicting a 3-2 win. (goals flyers: Nedved, Pitkanen & Richards)

Sweeet job as usual with the GDT Lion, I simply love them.
just a little notice tho, Forsberg is the only one that has 5 points on the team. (Gagne & Pitkanen is 2nd, tied with 4 points)

GO FLYERS!!!

From what I could tell last night, Hitch was rolling the "2" through "4" lines, and doing an ok job of balancing their time. Nedved's line got slightly more time than Carter's line, I think, but it's close. Really, the Flyers seem to have a first line, and then 3 lines that Hitch is going to roll. It'd be better if Boyd Kane wasn't out there (he just doesn't seem to bring much to the table), but I can't complain about the play of the Richards-Sanderson-Calder line, Nedved is playing surprisingly well, and Carter seems to need to shake the rust off a bit. That line needs to produce some more chances. I think if they do, we'll see their ice time go up.

I thought Carter's line was one of our best last night. A couple really good chances early, esp. RJ back to JC in the slot. They had good possession and some chances too, just didn't finish yet.

The problem with ice time for them is that none of them are doing full time work on the PK. Carter got some PK time with Gagne but for the most part, when the refs ruin the game with repeated stupid phantom hook penalty calls, it takes the bench away from the coaches.

Carter might have only had 12 minutes but he had the puck on his stick for most of it, and did some nice work at both ends of the ice.

If the refs would let the teams play 5 on 5 and decide the game themselves, instead of alternating PPs, it would be better for all our players.

The real debate should be:

how many times will the Habs skate circles around Hatcher?

Once, and then he'll pick Samsonov's pocket while in the middle of some silly-*** deke.

Maybe the players should just stop taking stupid penalties. I realize there were a few bad calls, but most of them were legit. It's the players that need to adjust not the Refs. IMO,Out of all the penalties the flyers were called on id say 95% looked like legit calls. The 3% were kind of phantom calls but the player still had stick in a hooking motion. The other 2% can be fairly criticized. There is no doubt the Flyers have been undisciplined, and have been hooking like crazy. This is not the Refs fault at all, it is the players. It is a good thing we have had good PK so far.
